The Wiley Coyote duo consists of two long time local Portland songwriters and musicians, Dan Haley and Alexa Wiley. Wiley Coyote’s performance consists of lyric driven vocal music supported by acoustic guitar(s), mandolin, and harmonica with vocal harmonies and sometimes light percussion. The duo performs a unique blend of styles that compliments their joint poetic musicality.
Dan Haley has been a fixture in the Portland music scene for years. Dan is currently an indispensable member of local bands Gravel, The Greene Strypes & Haley/Wiley Duo. His solo work is described as “fab-rustic art-pop.”
Alexa Wiley is a long-time local singer-songwriter, who loves metaphor. Her songs are a mix of poetry, jazz, world beat, country, rock, and folk. Alexa has purposefully searched out that which is unpredictable and wild about herself.
